- If Hoshi is made with Yarn and Colors Must Have Mercerised Cotton 4-ply yarn and a 2.5 mm hook, he will measure 20 cm / 8 inches tall from the top of his head to his feet.

Materials Required for Hoshi the penguin

any Orange, Blue, Aqua, Grey, White yarn
- Crochet hook in accordance with yarn you use (2.5 mm)
- Fibrefill / toy stuffing
- Spare black yarn for embroidery of eyes - for example, Yarn and Colors Must-Have yarn in Colour 100 Black
- Stitch markers, darning, embroidery needles , pearl head pins
