Organic Cotton is the name of the Krea Deluxe organic cotton yarn selection. The raw cotton comes from South America, where the perfect combination of a warm climate and fertile soil makes it is possible to grow organic cotton. The cotton fields are placed near mountain springs and rivers. Here the cotton is sown, grown and harvested without chemical pesticides and artificial fertilisers and with minimum irrigation. The natural growth creates longer cotton fibres which results in an incredibly soft quality yarn.

The yarn is developed with babies, children and people suffering from allergies in mind. It is produced in accordance with the highest organic standards GOTS and all processes from the raw cotton to spinning, winding and colouring are certified. The yarn is produced in Europe in a small family owned mill, where also our unique tone on tone colour palette has been developed in cooperation with our skilled dyeing specialist.

The cotton keeps its shape – also after many times in the washer, which makes it the perfect yarn for clothes, toys, cloths and towels.
