Rex the dinosaur
Rex is an Associate Professor of Paleontology at Amiland University. He loves going on dinosaur digs with his students and is most famous for his discovery of the fossils of the Crochetosaurus. He has written a book about his research and carries autographed copies in his bag for anyone who might be interested.

- In English only using US crochet terminology

- Level: Intermediate
- Knowledge of stitches required: single crochet, increase, decrease, slip stitch, chain, half double crochet, 3 double crochet bobble
- If Rex is made with DMC Natura Just Cotton 4-ply yarn and a 2.5 mm hook, he will measure 18.5 cm / 7.25 inches tall from the top of his head to his feet.

Materials Required
- Yarn (one ball of each colour will suffice)
DMC Natura Just Cotton 4-ply yarn in: Ivory (02), Light Green (12), Jade (20), Blue Paradise (24), Canelle (37)
or
any White, Light Green, Dark Green, Blue, Brown yarn
- Crochet hook in accordance with yarn you use (2.5 mm)
- Fibrefill / toy stuffing
- 6 mm black plastic safety eyes
- Black (#310) embroidery thread (DMC Six Strand Cotton Thread)
- Stitch markers, darning, embroidery needles
- Stud button
- Button (9mm diameter)
- Wire for the glasses (25 cm / 10 inches)
- Cylindrical object approximately 1.5 cm / 0.75 inches in diameter to create the rim of the glasses
