Brendan is a laid-back hermit crab who is just loving life. He enjoys catching a wave or two in the wee hours of the morning followed by a quick snooze on the beach. Whilst he doesn’t worry about much, he is very particular with the use of sunscreen…slip, slop, slap is his motto!
Brendan the hermit crab was designed as part of the Yarn and Colours Lookbook #32 Sea Life released in July 2022 with the theme “Under the Sea!”.

- If Brendan is made with Yarn and Colors Must Have Mercerised Cotton 4-ply yarn and a 2.5 mm hook, he will measure 13.5 cm / 5.5 inches tall from the top of his shell to the base of his body.

any Orange, Blue, White yarn
- Crochet hook in accordance with yarn you use (2.5 mm)
- Fibrefill / toy stuffing
- Spare black yarn for embroidery of eyes - for example, Yarn and Colors Must-Have yarn in Colour 100 Black
- Stitch markers, darning, embroidery needles , pearl head pins
